Apparently, such a thing would not be incredibly difficult to put together, and it looks like the team already has some ideas on how to move forward with this. Series creator Katsuhiro Harada talked about this possibility during a recent interview, in which he was asked directly about a potential cross-platform play feature. This means that plenty of people will be able to enjoy this upcoming fighting game, but what’s arguably much more exciting is that cross-platform play might also be supported. For the first time in the series the game will run under the Unreal Engine 4. The origins of Devil Gene and other Tekken mysteries are planned to be revealed as well. The central plot of the Tekken series revolves around the internal feud between the Mishima clan and is set to be concluded in the latest installment. Specifically highlighted in the trailer is the new playable character Kazumi Mishima, wife of series main antagonist Heihachi Mishima and grandmother of series main protagonist Jin Kazama. When the game makes the leap from arcades to consoles it will be most complete and enhanced version up to date. Harada proclaimed that “fans can look forward to a dramatic and over the top progression to the canon storyline.” Special content “sure to please Playstation fans” was also promised by Harada.
